Introduction & Commitment
Safety is the foundation of a thriving community, yet many township residents live in fear due to rising crime and limited police resources. Our Neighborhood Security Programme is dedicated to closing the protection gap, ensuring that every street and household is part of a coordinated, community-led safety network.
We are committed to reclaiming our streets by strengthening the link between residents, Community Policing Forums (CPFs), and SAPS. Our approach focuses on visibility, rapid communication, and collective vigilance to ensure our families can live, work, and play in peace.
Key Program Interventions
Emergency Contact Database: Maintenance of a direct database containing police station commanders and night-shift contacts to ensure help is always reachable.
Community Emergency Line: A dedicated communication channel for residents to report suspicious activity or request help when traditional emergency lines are overwhelmed.
Trained Community Responders: Equipping local volunteers with basic security training and emergency protocols to act as a first line of assistance.

Sustainable Impact
Beyond immediate crime prevention, we aim to build a long-term culture of safety and responsibility. By equipping our communities with the right tools and connections, we reduce the burden on overstretched police services and create a resilient security net that belongs to the people. Together, we are building a future where safety is not a luxury, but a standard for everyone.
